FACTS About Latvia and Famous Latvians!

The hate campaign directed at Latvia by a local "journalist" of German (or perhaps German-Jewish) extraction named David Schmader has led my colleagues and I here at CLAP to begin a public education program about the many rich cultural traditions of the great Free Baltic Republic of Latvia- Dievs, svētī Latviju!

Below are the FACTS about Latvia, not the superheated opinion of a notorious proponent of public indecency who thinks it's ok to slander Latvians to his heart's content- along with his cadre of "stooges" who do his "dirty work" at the Stranger blog. (WARNING: I refuse, out of concerns for public decency, to provide a direct link to the vile pornography that is the Stranger blog, on account of concerns to violing the On-Line Child Protection Act by doing so. The reader is hereby WARNED that the Stranger is, in fact, not only homosexal propaganda but also homosexual verbal pornography, also embracing pedophilia and coprophagia)

Did You Know........

* Latvia is one of the three Baltic Republics, including brave and noble Liuthuania and another nation (Estonia) which retains close cultural, political and military ties to our historic oppressors, the Russians. This is due to their historic tendency towards Baltic deviationism and opportunism, all directed towards the creation of a Greater Estonia which would then serve the interests of Moscow, and destroy all Baltic freedom.
* The main languages of Latvia are Latvian (official) 58.2%, Russian 37.5%, Lithuanian and other 4.3% (2000 census)
* Latvia has one of the highest literacy rates in the world, at 99.8% This is significantly higher than Estonia, which is currently at 99.2%, and is dropping.
* Latvian life expectancy is also one of the highest in the world, at 79.6 years! And beautiful Latvian women live even longer, an astonishing 82.6 years, second only to Japan worldwide! This is due to our healthful diet and the beauty and clean skies and air of Latvia!
* Latvia is a religiously-tolerant nation with citizens of Lutheran, Roman Catholic, Russian Orthodox and other beliefs. Our happy people live in perfect harmony in the metropolis of Riga, and in the countryside where our mant healthful crops grow!
* Riga is often called the Athens of the Baltics, and is one of the most beautiful and perfectly preserved medieval cities in all of Europe.
* Latvians are TALL! Indeed, we are one of the tallest peoples in the world, with an average male height of 191 cm (or over six-feet two!). Often you will here in the streets of Riga, "How is the weather up there, my Latvian friend!" Latvians are one of the most good-humoured of all peoples, as this charming anecdote relates.
* Latvian women are of incomparable beauty. You can see the grace and beauty of the typical Latvian woman here: http://tinyurl.com/2s2xs5
Whoa! Down now, fellas!
* Latvians value family, friends and above all DECENCY. Although not outlawed, homosexuality is frowned upon by the people, who view such deviants as anti-social and bound to spread disease.
* After a hard day of work, there is nothing a Latvian man enjoys more than to sit with friends and have a few Turbo Bock Beers- but be careful, there! At a whopping 9.5% alcohol, Turbo Bock is one of the strongest regularly brewed beers in the world!
* The famous Riga Black Balsam liquour is the pride of the distillers arts in Latvia. A rare and perfectly-nuanced drink of herbs, flowers oils and berries, there is nothing like it in the world. Visit and on-line wine store and share this intoxicating Latvian experience with good friends after an invigorating meal of potato kugel- the Latvian national dish!
